The Murcar Championship Golf Links has a par of 71 and is frequently featured in the Top 100 courses in the UK and is in the Visit Scotland Top 40 Great Scottish Links Collection. In 2005, it hosted pre-qualifying for the British Senior Open.
The testing Murcar Links hosts many national amateur championships and other professional tournaments. In 2006, Murcar Links was home to the European Challenge Tour’s Scottish Challenge and the British Boys Plate.
